Crossroad

We’re at a point in time where you have to make a decision. These past few years have been challenging when it comes to deciphering what’s true and what’s false. As time continues on it may get enough harder to really tell what’s real and what’s fake. We have to make a decision on what we call truth. God’s word has always been true and is still true to this day.

There may come a time where all you have is God’s word. Are you going to believe the circumstances around you? Or are you going to believe what the word of God says? If God tells us that he is own or side, we have to believe that regardless of how things may look around us. We have to exercise our faith muscle and make sure we are reading our word each day. You may be at a crossroad right now and you have to decide are you going to go left and believe your circumstances or are you going to go right and believe what God says about your circumstances?

Things may seem uncertain right now. There is a lot going on with the Corona Virus and a slew of other things. I think it is important to be informed about the things going on, but you can’t let the circumstances dictate how you live your life. If God tells us over and over not to fear, we have to understand that there is a reason that we shouldn’t fear. He is with us. We can’t let what we see determine how we conduct our lives. We have to truly stand in faith and believe that God will protect us regardless of what we see.

Exercising your faith muscle is pretty much like going to the gym and lifting weights. The first few days you probably won’t see any results, but as you continue lifting weights, you will start to get stronger and you will start to see your muscles pop out. It is the same with our faith. The more we read God’s word, the stronger we become. When we are hit with circumstances that are out of our control, we will respond differently. We wont just fall apart because we have scripture to rely on. Yes, we are human and yes, we do have feelings and so we will feel certain ways when unfavorable situations happen. However, we have God’s word to give us that strength and we can recite those verses to ourselves for encouragement. I challenge you to immerse yourself is God’s word. Continue to read his word, especially because the truth may become even more challenging to decipher. At least God’s word is something we can rely on and it’s true and there may come a time where all we have to rely on and believe is God’s word.
