The Countdown: 5, 4, 3, 2, 1….

I saw this music video when I was in high school. The video had such a powerful message. It struck me in a different way back then, than it does now. In the video, people are walking around with numbers over their heads. The numbers represent the amount of time they have left before they die. Imagine if we could see the amount of time that people have left before they die. Would you speak to them about Jesus? What if someone else could see how much time you had to live? How would that make you feel if you didn’t know Christ or stopped following him all together? Would you want someone to tell you about Christ? What if you only had a few minutes to live? I challenge you to use whatever gifts God has placed inside of you to tell others about him. As you go throughout your day, I want you to imagine that everyone you come in contact with has a five-minute countdown clock over their head and they don’t realize they only have five-minutes to live. It is your job to tell them about Christ, so they may spend eternity with him before they die.
