Restart
Have you ever just wanted to hit the restart button in life? Maybe you said something that you wish you hadn’t. Maybe you did something that you wish you hadn’t. The time we live in captures everything. We see videos of people in the store being recorded in various forms.
There are two thoughts I want to deposit with you today:
The first one is that God doesn’t record our mess-ups. He doesn’t have a camera recording our wrongdoings and plays them back. The second thought I want to give you is that we get to restart.
Because of who God is and how much he loves us; we are able to come to Him and ask for forgiveness. God throws our sins into the sea of forgetfulness, and they are remembered no more. He doesn’t remind us of how we messed up. He’s not playing back that time you were in the club popping bottles or twerking. You may not be able to restart with people, but you can restart with God. I encourage you to come to God and ask for forgiveness and hit the restart button. Our father welcomes you with open arms. He loves you so very much!
If you do not know the Lord or would like to rededicate your life to him I encourage you to say this prayer and accept Jesus as your Lord and savior:
Heavenly Father,
I come to you in the name of your son Jesus Christ. You said in your word that whosoever calls upon the name of the lord will be saved. I admit I am a sinner and in need of a savior. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask if You can forgive me of all my sins. Father, I am calling on Jesus right now. I believe that he died on the cross for my sins. I believe He rose again on the third day. Jesus come into my heart. Jesus come into my life and be my Savior. Save me. Thank You for saving me. Help me Lord to live a life that is pleasing to you each day in Jesus name I pray. Amen.
