Last Call
Imagine with me for a moment that we are all at a train station. Some people are already on the train; some are outside the train talking with friends and family or perhaps just standing around waiting for the train to board and some are distracted not paying attention. Boarding has begun because some people are already on the train. They give one last call for people to get on the train to leave and head to their destination. Some more people board the train, but some outside the train are still talking and not paying attention. The train finally has made the last call and is taking off. Imagine that several people run over to the ticket booth and find out that their train has left. We are all on this train called life, and I believe very soon that Jesus is coming back in the rapture for his people. Some are waiting and looking up. They see the signs all around how the world is going from climate change to unruly behavior. Some people are not paying attention to the signs that are going on around us. They are like the people that were at the train station standing around talking and not paying attention. I encourage you to secure your future with Jesus. Get on the train and tell as many people about Jesus as you can before this train of life leaves the station. The increased weather events, amongst other things, are similar to the train staff calling for people to board the train. These global events are calling out, saying, “Give your life to Jesus; tomorrow isn’t promised. It’s the last call before Jesus comes back.” I encourage you to board the Jesus train and bring as many people with you as you can.
“According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.” – 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” -2 Peter 3:9
“Wisdom shouts in the streets. She cries out in the public square.” – Proverbs 1:20
