The other dayI listened to this song by Crowder. I pictured in my head a person that was carrying a ton of bags. I pictured bags of guilt, shame, stress from work, stress from family, and other life stressors. I pictured this person to be physically exhausted and just ready to fall over at any moment.

The great thing is that we have a father that will carry all our luggage for us. I don’t know what luggage you are carrying or have been carrying, but I’ve been trying to carry fear, health concerns, and my future career. Honestly, it has been weighing me down. Whatever luggage you are trying to carry, hand it over to God. Let him carry your luggage. He’s offering to take the weight off your shoulders. Surrender your hurts, frustrations, expectations, irritations, and pain to your father. You will feel so much better. God never intended for you to carry those burdens.
