Worship

I saw a young woman in her car; her hands lifted to God. Worship is so vital in our relationship with God. God sent his one and only son Jesus to die on the cross for you, and I. God had us in mind and wanted a relationship with us, so he sent his only child to be put to death for something he didn’t even do, he was blameless. Jesus carried our sins so that you and I could be reconciled to the Father. As we approach Resurrection Day, take some time out and remember what Jesus did for you and thank him.

When I think about worship, I think of spending time alone in God’s presence. Sometimes we see people in public or even at church who boldly and loudly praise God; when I think about the woman in the car, what kind of week did she have? Is she thanking God in advance for a prayer on the way to be answered? Is she on the verge of being evicted? Did God deliver her from an abusive relationship? Is she thanking God and worshipping Him because he is a good father? or maybe something else?

If God never did anything else, sending his son to die on the cross is way more than enough. I know that we all have our concerns that we are facing in life, but I want to encourage you to spend some time thanking God and worshipping Him. He deserves all our praise; he loves us so much, and he is so amazing!
