What Does the Word Say?

I don’t know about you, but I have to constantly remind myself of what God’s Word says. It is so important to immerse ourselves in the Word daily. Throughout our day, the enemy tries to get us off course. He may put thoughts in our minds of how we aren’t good enough. He may try to throw us off course by temptation or evening reminding us of things we are believing God for that may not have manifested on this side yet. I want to encourage you to locate scripture that pertains to your specific concern and read out loud what the scripture says.

When we read the scripture, we remind and encourage ourselves of what the Word says. Talking with God and telling him what the Word says is perfectly okay. For example, let’s say you are believing God for healing; during your prayer with God, it is perfectly acceptable to pray for healing and say, God, your Word says in Isaiah 53:5, “By your stripes, I am healed.” Let’s say you’re believing God for a spouse; you can tell God that in 1 Corinthians 7:2, “Each husband should have his own wife, and each wife should have her own husband.” I would meditate on the scriptures that jump out to you to encourage you. Scripture is medicine. The more we read it and speak it out loud daily, it helps us grow stronger in our faith. What does the Word say? Continue to spend time with God and remind yourself of what God says in his Word; It will only make you stronger.
