Final Moments

Imagine being at a family member’s birthday party. You are having the time of your life. You are laughing and joking with cousins, aunts uncles, and everyone at the party. Then all of sudden, you’re gasping for,r air and you collapse to the ground. You hear sirens in the background that sound like they’re fading in an,d out and you feel the tug of your body being lifted on a stretcher. Strangers are talking to you, but you can hardly make out what they’re saying as you drift in and out of consciousness.

You’ve now arrived at the hospital and have tubes hooked to you, but you’re still unaware what is going on and who the people are around you. You drift back into an unconscious, state and everything goes black. It amazes me how short life is. It’s like one moment you’re having the time of your life, and the next you can be laid in a hospital bed unaware of what’s going on. Do you know where you are going to spend eternity? It’s interesting how one day someone is here and the next they’re gone, just like that. I encourage you to give your life to God and live each day for Jesus. We don’t know when our final moments will be, but why not live the rest of your days for Jesus.
