You Are Unique

Have you ever felt like you were the last to get picked at kickball or like the blemished fruit that gets picked over at the grocery store? It seems like most people often select the perfect fruit with no brown spots or dings. Psalm 139:14 says, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Genesis 1:27 says, So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. I want to remind you today that you are created in God’s image, and he loves you very much. You are uniquely you, and God designed you with a purpose. The next time the enemy speaks loudly to your mind about how you are this or that. Remind him that you are made in God’s image and wonderfully made. I don’t know if you have observed the world recently, but look up Ka’anapali Beach, Maui, online. It’s beautiful and guess what? God created it. God doesn’t make junk. God created those beautiful beaches for a reason, and he, too, created you for a reason. I don’t know about you, but that excites me knowing that I have a purpose; It should excite you, too, knowing that our father in Heaven created each of us for a purpose. God thought about you to do something specific on this earth.
